We are thrilled to announce FintechWomen’s 2019 inaugural program Let’s Start With Allies on Tuesday, March 12th!
Our host is the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance at Babson College.  The event will be held at Babson College’s Boston Campus.

Why allies? As we engage with the community, the women in fintech give us a treasure of ideas on what can be done to change the paradigm. Men offer their wholehearted support, and on the heels ask: What can we do to help? What should we do?

The interactive two-part program is designed to provide solutions:

  •  Part 1: Advocates and practitioners of inclusion take the stage to discuss gender diversity in fintech, particularly why and how men can be critical allies in the building of gender equity in the industry.
  •  Part 2: In workshop mode, each table of 5-7 attendees along with an ally-leader will ideate and offer practical and easily adoptable solutions. We will continue the dialogue online, with the solutions and other resources available and updated on our website.

The panel will be moderated by
Constance Armstrong, Executive Director, The Boston Club

Along with panelists:
Dan New New England Financial Services Growth Markets and FinTech Leader, EY
Paul Brassil, VP IT,  Boston Fed Reserve
Vasilious Roussos, Managing Director, DCU Fintech Innovation Center

Why should you attend?
It goes without saying that we welcome women and men to the discussion. At FintechWomen, our fundamental focus is to provide women in the fintech ecosystem a safe forum for professional and personal advancement. We also deeply believe that gender equity can only be achieved if all are committed to the changing institutional structures. If, like us, you are passionate about making the fintech ecosystem more inclusive, join us in thinking about methods and tools to change the paradigm. Tell us how you think change can be achieved.
